FingerDoor is a real-time polling and voting web service designed to help you gather audience responses quickly and naturally during classes, lectures, workshops, and presentations—and share the results instantly.
FingerDoor Live Poll Classroom Workshop
In live settings, participation often doesn’t happen as smoothly as expected. Asking for raised hands, collecting notes on paper, or running surveys through separate apps can easily break the flow—and it takes extra setup time.
FingerDoor was built to reduce this “in-room delay.” Hosts publish a question and bring people in; participants respond with a simple tap; results are aggregated instantly and can be shared on one screen. In other words, it helps keep Question → Participation → Result sharing in one continuous flow.
FingerDoor is especially useful when the goal is “participation,” not just “a survey.” It helps you pull live reactions and make the next step of the session smoother.
FingerDoor separates roles between “Host (teacher/speaker/moderator)” and “Participant (student/audience)” to make live operation easy. Typically, the host posts questions, participants join via code/link and respond, and the host shares results on screen.
We also continuously refine features and flows such as a “presentation view (present mode)” to display results more cleanly in lecture environments. Based on real-world usage, the UI and access flow will continue to be improved.
FingerDoor keeps participation as simple as possible while maintaining stability and responsible operations. For this reason, our operating policy requires hosts to enter a session purpose and an email address when creating a session. This is a minimal measure to prevent spam/abuse, deliver important operational notices, and support incident handling and quality improvements.
